- Increasing the visibility of research outputs coming out of Kibabii University
- Mitigating predatory publishing through use of research resources – identifying high impact journals
- Effectively monitoring and evaluating University’s research outputs
- Setting systems in place for researchers to accredit Kibabii University
- Communication to non-scientists and increasing research metrics to influence University’s webometric ranking
