The department of Transport is under Administration and is responsible for efficient transport facilitation, operations and effective maintenance of Kibabii University motor vehicles. Currently the University operates a fleet of 6 operational motor vehicles.

The transport department has been able to support both staff and students effectively despite the limited available resources. The department is anticipating to acquire two more vehicles in support of the growing transport demand as the University enlarges. Successful partnerships with our clients require mutual respect, a shared understanding of expectations and a steadfast commitment to achieving set out goals and objectives. Our commitment for excellence in client service includes investing time to listen to our clients and thoroughly understand not only their transport requirements, but also their expectations. We remain dedicated to maintaining a focus on meeting our clients' needs by delivering the superior service they expect.

Kibabii University Acquire New Bus

Kibabii University has acquired a new 51 seater bus. This comes as a boost to the transport department in a bid to ensure continuous provision of transport services in the University. University Procurement officer, Ms. Jescah Nekesa Wanyonyi handed over the KCP 778K keys to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ipara Odeo on 11th March, 2019. KIBU Drivers Pays Courtesy Call to the Vice Chancellor

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ipara Odeo met with the in-charge Transport Department officer, Ms. Ruth Tali and a section of Kibabii University drivers on Monday 1st October, 2018. The courtesy call gave Prof. Odeo and the drivers the opportunity to have a brief discussion on the concluded University sponsored refresher course on Defensive Driving and First Aid Course by Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology
