KIBU Celebrates Customer Service Week

As the world marks the Annual Customer Service Week, Kibabii University staff and students congregated today 5th October, 2022 to commemorate the climax of the weeklong event.

Graced by the Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Donald Siamba Namasaka, Management, staff and students, the celebration was a culmination of virtuous work done in delivering services to the over 7,000 students, alumni and the community over the years.

Prof. Siamba lauded front officers for their dedication and assiduous efforts in their delivery of service. He attributed the exemplary output to the behaviors and attitudes in handling customers.

“Customer service is a relationship. It is the little things that you do in the process of offering a service,” he said.

While paying attention to this year’s theme “Celebrating Service”, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & Student Affairs) Prof. Eng. Henry Kiriamiti challenged the service givers to be compassionate while dealing with issues affecting clients. According to him, bad customer experience stays longer in a customer’s mind and it will affect any business in the long run.

The ceremony was also attended by the Registrar (Academic Affairs) Prof. Ernest Mohochi and the acting Registrar (Administration & Human Resource) Dr. Charles Wasike among other officers.

From the Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing, we wish to thank all our customers for being part of this journey!
