The climax of the KIBU Careers and Cultural Week is usually preserved for the Vice Chancellor to award outstanding sports men and women of Kibabii University. This year’s event was more than colorful with an expanded list of various sports and entertainment from students.
The 2024/2025 KIBU SOYA Awards which was graced by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, the DVC Administration, Finance and Planning Prof. Donald Siamba, the Dean of Students Dr. Benson Murumba, staff and students witnessed outstanding sports men and women being awarded with trophies, certificates and cash awards. The VC Prof. Ipara while officially closing this year’s week long cultural event noted that he had never witnessed a level of vibrancy and enthusiasm from students like what has been exhibited this year.
