Bungoma County Madaraka Day Handbook Committee Meets With the County Director of Communications

A delegation from Kibabii University met the Bungoma County Director of Communications on 7^th May, 2024 to coordinate preparations for the production of a handbook for the upcoming Madaraka Day Celebration, scheduled for 1^st June, 2024, to mark Kenya’s 60 years of independence. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Munir, Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor for Planning, Partnership, Research, and Innovation (PPRI). Bungoma County agreed to collaborate with Kibabii University by providing necessary information for the handbook to be disseminated to dignitaries and attendees during the celebration. This information encompasses various aspects such as an overview of Bungoma County, its history and heritage, major County Government projects, tourism and attraction sites, local culture and traditions, Madaraka day celebrations, as well as useful contacts and institutions in Bungoma County.
