Vice Chancellor Hosts 8th SOKU Leadership for a Farewell Breakfast Meeting

On Friday, 27th February 2026, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, hosted a farewell breakfast meeting with the 8th Student Organization of Kibabii University (SOKU) leadership.

The delegation, led by the President, Mr. Victor Kipchumba Koech was accompanied by the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Leunita Makila, underscoring the strong collaboration between the student leadership and the Office of Students Affairs. The team comprised 21 Faculty and School representatives alongside the 7 members of the Student Governing Council.

Commending the outgoing student leadership, the Vice Chancellor praised their professionalism and effectiveness in representing student interests.

“I am very proud of how you articulate and present your issues. This has enabled you, with the support of the Administration, to achieve the manifestos you promised students because you present your issues objectively and constructively,” the Vice Chancellor noted.

The meeting emphasized continued collaboration, mutual respect, and open dialogue between University Management and student leadership. The SOKU President expressed appreciation for ongoing development projects and policy improvements that have positively impacted the student community.
