In a generous and community-driven gesture, NCBA Bank has donated a significant number of parasol umbrellas to Kibabii University. The umbrellas, intended to provide the much-needed shade for outdoor study tables, were officially handed over to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, in a ceremony graced by NCBA Bank’s Branch Manager, Mr. Noah Sikuku, and the Regional General Manager (Business Banking), Ms. Irene Omari on 28th September, 2023.
The donation is part of NCBA Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting educational institutions and fostering a conducive learning environment for students and staff.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, expressed his gratitude for the generous donation.
“We are immensely thankful to NCBA Bank for their thoughtful contribution. These umbrellas will make a significant difference in the lives of our students, allowing them to study comfortably outdoors while staying protected from the sun,” he said.
Mr. Noah Sikuku, the Branch Manager of NCBA Bank, emphasized the Bank’s commitment to community development.
“At NCBA Bank, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. Education is a cornerstone of societal progress, and we are delighted to play a part in enhancing the learning environment at Kibabii University,” he said.
Kibabii University and NCBA Bank have a history of collaboration in various community development initiatives including joint planting of trees among others. This donation further strengthens the partnership.
