Kibabii University through the Productivity Mainstreaming Committee hosted a three-day Workshop aimed at addressing gaps in performance management reporting and enhancing overall productivity. The Workshop which commenced on Wednesday 27th November 2024 was facilitated by experts from the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre (NPCC), Ms. Wilbroda Okaka and David Lukori.
NPCC is a Directorate in the State Department for Labour and Skills Development, under Ministry of Labour and Social Protection which plays a vital role in promoting productivity awareness, driving improvement in both public and private sectors, conducting productivity research, and enhancing global competitiveness.
Under the stewardship of the Kibabii University Productivity Mainstreaming Committee Prof. Stanley Ngome, KIBU has recorded exemplary well over the years. In the last review, the University achieved a composite score of 2.95 which is rated as “High Productivity”. This Workshop marks another step in the University’s commitment to excellence by equipping staff with advanced skills in Strategic Plan reporting in order to strengthen its performance management systems.
