KIBU at International Workshop on Criminal Investigations

Dr. Langat Kathryn from Department of Social work and Criminology standing on the third row in the middle attending  International  Workshop on Criminal Investigations  that took place in St. Andrews – Nairobi on 18th -19th June, 2019. The workshop was organized by Professional Criminologist Association of Kenya. The training was facilitated by Mission Africa International from Ireland led by Dr. W. J. Paul Baillie, Retired Chief Inspector Bryan Swan, Retired Detective Sergeant Gary Rea and Denise Shaw.

The theme of the workshop was “Crime must fall“.Topics covered included murder investigation, kidnapping, domestic abuse, road traffic investigation, child abuse among others. The workshop was attended by international members from African countries and team of experts from Criminal Justice Mr. Munene Mugambi, Snr. Counsel Hon. Gitobu Imanyara, Dr. Shako (Forensic Medical Specialist), Dr. Myrna Kalsi (Forensic Odontologist) and Mr. Malkit  Patron of PCAK.
