Kibabii University alumni are set to experience dynamic growth under newly elected leaders, who will steer the association for the next three years. The election, held on Friday, 10th May, 2024, culminated in a swearing-in ceremony on 13th June, 2024, followed by an intensive induction program that concluded on 14th June, 2024, in Eldoret. The induction was conducted by Peter Quest, an officer from the Kenya School of Government. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo graced the occasion. Others in attendance were the Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs) Prof. Stanley Mutsotso and the Director of Career Services Dr. Rober Wafula.
The newly elected leaders are:
- Chairperson: Yvonne Kariuki
- Vice Chair: Christopher Simiyu
- Secretary General: Meshack Wachemba
- Deputy Secretary General: Dennis Barasa
- Treasurer: Bonface Odhiambo
- Resource Mobilizer: Evans Lusiche
- Special Interest Representative: Simon Mbogoh
In her remarks, the Chairperson, Ms. Yvonne Kariuki, assured vibrancy with the new leadership at the helm.
“This leadership team brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective, promising a new era of growth and innovation for the Kibabii University alumni community,” she stated.
