KIBU Admits an IT Intern from the Technical University of Munich

As part of the ongoing International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) programme, Kibabii University has admitted Mr. Rami Daouas, an intern student from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. Rami will be working closely with the Directorate of ICT where he will be involved in tasks associated with the ERP system, data center management, and offering invaluable end-user support to our students. His practical contributions will enhance our IT infrastructure and elevate the overall educational experience we provide.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field. He possesses sets of skills in Software Testing, Software Architecture, Python programming, Network Security and Information Security. These skills are essential in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of IT systems and align perfectly with our commitment to excellence in Science and Technology. Apart from his engagement at KIBU, he will also be contributing his expertise to the County Assembly of Bungoma, where he will be engaged in several pivotal projects.

Earlier under the same programme, the University played host to Ms. Sixtine Bonart and Sandra Frey, both from Switzerland, who recently completed their internships. This international exchange of knowledge and expertise reflects our commitment to fostering global collaboration in academia and technology.
