Kibabii University Staff Embark on Erasmus+ Mobility to NLA University College, Norway

Two members of faculty, Dr. Robert Kati and Mr. Onex Opati, have today, 7th October 2025, departed for NLA University College in Bergen, Norway, under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme.

Dr. Kati, a lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy and the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, will be joined by Mr. Opati, a lecturer in the Department of Educational Foundations and Coordinator at the Institute of Gender and Development Studies.

The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme offers valuable opportunities for academic exchange, enabling staff to engage in international collaboration, share expertise, and enhance institutional linkages. Their visit marks yet another milestone in advancing the University’s commitment to academic excellence, internationalization, and cross-cultural exchange. The engagement not only strengthens Kibabii University’s global partnerships but also contributes to enriching teaching, research, and capacity-building initiatives.

The duo were seen off by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Planning, Partnerships, Research and Innovation), Prof. Julius Maiyo, who, on behalf of Kibabii University, wished them a fruitful and impactful experience in Norway as they represent the University on this prestigious international platform.
