Kibabii University participated in the Annual Careers and Industrial Fair held on 5th June 2026 at St. Joseph’s Boys Senior School (JOBO), Kitale. The event brought together professionals, institutions of higher learning, and organizations from various sectors to provide students with valuable career guidance and information on academic and professional opportunities. The University was represented by the Registrar (Academic Affairs), Sr. Dr. Jacklyne O. Alari, alongside officers from the Admissions Office.
The fair, hosted by St. Joseph’s Boys Senior School, which has a student population of approximately 3,500 learners, attracted participation from several secondary schools and stakeholders from diverse professional fields. It aimed to expose students to a broad spectrum of career options while helping them understand the educational pathways and skills required for success in different professions.
The programme commenced with a career guidance session led by the school’s Career Master, who underscored the importance of informed career planning and decision-making. Presentations were subsequently made by representatives from universities, colleges, and industry organizations on opportunities in fields such as medicine, engineering, aviation, business, information technology, education, law, and the arts.
Students also visited exhibition booths where they accessed career guidance materials and information on academic programmes offered by participating institutions. Interactive engagements with professionals provided learners with an opportunity to seek clarification on career-related issues and gain practical insights into various occupations and industry trends.
At the Kibabii University exhibition stand, prospective students received information on the University’s academic programmes, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and student support services. University representatives also guided learners on career pathways aligned with their interests, abilities, and academic strengths.
