Kibabii University Alumna Wins H.J. Heinz Fellowship

Mercy Jematia, Kibabii University alumni class of 2017, Faculty of Education and Social Sciences won H.J. Heinz Fellowship to study Master of Education in Social and Comparative Analysis of Education (SCAE) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Education, in U.S.A. The Global Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh awards the fellowship to students from developing countries who wish to pursue a master’s degree and have demonstrated potential as future leaders. In addition to a Master of Education degree, Ms. Jematia plans to pursue a Global Studies Certificate and an African Studies Certificate. Kibabii University is proud of Ms. Jematia, we wish her well in her studies and we challenge our alumni to explore far more deeply the areas of their academic interests.
