KCB Bank Managers Pay a Courtesy Call on the Vice Chancellor

A team of KCB Bank managers visited the University on Wednesday 29th September, 2021.

Led by the Bank’s Director of Retail Banking Mr. Michael Kungu, the team thanked the University for the opportunities presented to the them such as allowing students’ fees payment, a loans scheme for staff, salary payments among other services.

Mr. Kungu promised to fast track the setting up of ATM services at the University to ease access to staff, students and the neighboring community. He also pledged to support the University’s Sports Complex in many aspects that shall promote visibility and comfort to the sportsmen and spectators.

Representing the Vice Chancellor, the DVC (Planning, Partnerships, Research and Innovation) Prof. Dr.-Ing. Benedict M. Mutua welcomed the bankers to Kibabii University and affirmed the Management’s commitment to an open playing field to all business partners as the University grows.

“We thank you for considering to open an ATM at this place. This will indeed act as a springboard to us the consumers as well as to you the Bank. Even as you do this, we challenge you and others to consider in your future plans to open branches around Kibabii University to compliment your service delivery,” he said.

In attendance was the Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs) Prof. Julius Maiyo.
