A senior lecturer from the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy is the new Dean of the Graduate School. Dr. Robert Kati emerged best after a competitive recruitment and was appointed by the University Council on 18th October, 2022. He takes over from Prof. Stanley Ngome Mutsotso after the lapse of his term. Dr. Kati joined Kibabii University in January 2015. Until his appointment, he was the Examination/Timetable Coordinator in his Department.
The handing over exercise took over today in the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Student Affairs) Prof. Henry Kirimi Kiriamiti. He congratulated the new Dean and challenged him to uphold the image of the University through churning out quality graduates.
The Registrar (Academic Affairs) Prof. Mohochi who also attended the ceremony commended the appointment, terming the new Dean as equal to the task. He also thanked Prof. Mutsotso for his 6 years stint at the Graduate School.
The elated Kati, thanked the University Council and Management for the faith and promised to cement and upscale the standards of the School and the Unievrsity.
