The Senate at its Special meeting held on Thursday 16th November 2017 noted with regret the untimely death of Paul Ngichabe Registration number EDA/0051/15 who until his death was a third year Bachelor of Education (Arts) student specializing in English/Literature.
In view of this, Senate resolved that Lectures be suspended for two(2) days, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th November 2017 to enable students to mourn their departed colleague. Lectures and other University programmes will resume on Monday, 20th November, 2017.
Senate also commends and urges the students’ fraternity to continue maintaining calmness during this sorrowful and difficult moment.
