This internal Memo follows the release of the 2016/2017 Examination Results and the end of the 2016/2017 Special/Supplementary Examinations on Friday 29th September 2017.
This is to inform All Continuing students that they MUST obtain a statement of their 2016/2017 Examination Results from their Faculty/School and use this as an informed basis to direct them on how to register in the correct year of study.
Please NOTE that it is only those students who PASSED the 2016/2017 Examination who can proceed to register for the subsequent/next year of study.
In view of this, we advise the following groups of students who have not met the prerequisite requirements to proceed to the next year of study to follow the indicated recommendations with respect to their correct status of registration:

OR a student with any other pending Special/Supplementary Examination from a previous academic year. |

Following the Release of the 2016/2017 Examination Results:
2.1 Students who did not do the recommended Supplementary Examinations. 2.2 Students who are to Repeat the Year of study or Repeat specific Courses. |
· MUST defer their studies and do the Supplementary Examinations first when next offered. · MUST register for the Repeat Year or for the Repeat Courses. |
The University will verify each student’s academic records with a view of confirming that each student registers in their correct year of study as per their academic record and will take any measure necessary to block those who do not comply with the University Examination Rules and Regulations.
