Following the disruption of University Programmes by Students on the night of Friday 22nd March, 2019 and the morning of Saturday 23rd March, 2019, and in view of the safety of Students, Staff and Property of the University and the surrounding community, the University Senate in its Special Meeting held on Saturday 23rd March, 2019 at 10.00 am in the Vice Chancellor’s Boardroom A, resolved to close the University indefinitely.
In view of the foregoing, all Students are required to vacate the University premises today Saturday 23rd March, 201,9 by 2.00 pm.
