Kibabii University AIDS Control Unit, Student Affairs Department and the Health Services in conjunction with Bungoma County Hospital, AMPATH and APHIAPLUS organized for HIV and AIDS awareness week from 25th -30th September 2017. This event was sponsored by NASCOP.
Activities comprised HIV Testing and counselling (HTC) Services, STI’s Screening and referrals, and HIV advocacy and education. There were 3 service points within the campus and one service points in the student’s residential areas outside the University premises.
All staff and students who had undergone HTC attended the event. Two teams of students from Kibabii TTC and Sangalo Institute attended and made presentations aligned to the events theme.
