Rattansi Foundation Continues Support for Kibabii University Library

Kibabii University continues to benefit from the generosity of the Rattansi Foundation, which has once again made a substantial contribution to the University’s academic resources. On Monday, 23rd September 2024, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, formally received a donation of 1,087 books from the Foundations. The donation, composed of various subject areas was valued at KES 650,000.

The books were handed over during a brief ceremony attended by Mr. Samuel K. Wakahia, Head of Library Services and Documentation Center, and Mr. Joshua Ilavonga, Head of the Postgraduate Section.

The Vice Chancellor expressed deep gratitude to the Rattansi Foundation for its continued dedication to supporting higher education in Kenya.

“We are immensely grateful for this generous donation, which will go a long way in enriching our academic offerings and ensuring that our students and faculty have access to the latest knowledge and research,” Prof. Odeo said.

The Rattansi Foundation has been a long-standing partner of Kibabii University, consistently supporting its mission to provide quality, holistic education to the Kenyan community. This latest contribution underscores the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to empowering future generations through education.
