Kibabii University has for the second time retained the coveted ISO Certification. The certification was first acquired in 2015. Since then, the University has been employing its processes, based on a number of quality management principles with emphasis on a strong customer focus.
The two-day exercise that was commenced on Tuesday 18th July, 2023 was conducted by the lead Auditor Mr. Jared Ogutu. In his report on this year’s findings to the top management, Mr. Ogutu gave a clean bill, citing zero nonconformity. He particularly lauded the University’s commitment describing KIBU as a cut above the rest. He challenged 100% transition to paperless documentation.
While receiving the report, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo commended Kibabii University faculty and staff spearheaded by the Directorate of Quality Assurance and a team of auditors for continuously safeguarding and improving internal processes to catch up with the ever-changing customer demands. He challenged the University community to inculcate the culture of quality and teamwork.
