A team from the Ministry of Education, State Department for University Education and Research, and the National Treasury Universities Fund on Monday 13th June, 2022 visited Kibabii University on a monitoring and evaluation exercise. The team was received by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo together with the members of the University Management.
The purpose of the visit was to accumulate data regarding the status of Government of Kenya sponsored projects in all public Universities and Colleges in Kenya. The exercise covered the validation and verification of data submitted by various institutions for funding which will aid well informed planning and budgeting by Government.
The delegation comprised of CPA Caroline Mbaka (Accountant, Universities Fund), Ms. Yuniah Kemunto Matoke (Principal Officer, State Department for University Education and Research), Mr. Victor Kombe (UF) and Mr. Nickson Kimono, an Economist at the State Department for University Education and Research.
