Kibabii University held a successful one day training workshop on Intellectual Property Rights Management on 27th June, 2019 in Senate Boardroom. The Workshop themed “Intellectual Property Rights in the Global Economy for the Academia” is one among many such forums organized by the Intellectual Property Rights Management Committee under the Planning, Partnerships, Research and Innovation division. This particular event covered various thematic areas including: Finding your intellectual property assets, Intellectual property rights management in academic, challenges and opportunities for patenting in Kenya and ethics of intellectual property rights (challenges and solutions).
