Conference Objective: The conference strives to link academia and practitioners from Government, Industry, Civil Society and Development Partners to exchange ideas on applied research and practice. The Focus of the Conference is on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Kenya Vision 2030; with more emphasis on the “Big 4” National Agenda.

Presenters of papers or posters should send an abstract of not more than 300 words in English, typed in Times New Roman, Font 12, spacing 1.5, margins 1 inch all sides and be received by 2nd May 2018 through

The abstract should include background, objectives, methodology, results and conclusion. It should also include the title, author’s name, a liation institution, email address, phone number and sub theme. |
The full papers for accepted abstracts should be submitted by 11th May 2018. The full papers should be between 3000 to 5000 words, prepared in Times New Romans Font 12, spacing 1.5.
Empirical papers: Cover page with Title of Paper, Abstract (300 words), Key words (maximum 5), Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussions, Conclusions and Recommendations, References Posters: Height 80cm Width 60cm or A1 References: Use APA style 6th edition; avoid footnotes. Avoid citation in abstract Appendices: Should follow references |
Reviewed papers will be published in a book as conference proceedings and the best papers will be considered for publication in the Kibabii University Journal.
The best presentation in each category will be awarded certificate of excellence; and all participants will be awarded certificate of participation.

CONFERENCE FEES
The fee will cover conference facilities, equipment, materials, mid-morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch. It does not include accommodation, dinner and travel expenses. There are good hotels with modern accommodation facilities in Bungoma Town.
