Message from Director, Planning and Organization Performance
The Directorate was established in March 2021. This was after the splitting of the Directorate of Performance Contracting and Quality Assurance (PC&QA) into Directorate of Quality assurance (QA) and Planning and Organization Performance (DPOP) that retained the PC aspect. The PC activities of the directorate are coordinating the drafting, negotiation, vetting, review, implementation and evaluation of the Performance Contracts. In the planning function, the directorate coordinates the drafting of University Almanac and Work plans and monitoring their implementation.
The Directorate is involved in the planning of the growth of the University and associated activities. This is done through the development, review, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the University Master Plan and Strategic Plan. From the strategic plan, annual work plans are developed for the University Divisions, Schools/Faculty, department, sections and committees. To ensure effective management of activities and resources, a University Almanac is also developed and implemented.
