You are cordially invited for a one day workshop for Bungoma County Secondary Schools / Tertiary Colleges Librarians/ Teacher –Librarians to be held on Friday 4th, December, 2015 from 8am-5pm. It is being organized by Kibabii University College. The topical issues to be covered by senior professionals in the field of information science/knowledge management will include: setting up and organizing a modern library, acquisition and processing of both print and e-resources, sourcing for library funds, computerization of library services, establishing a library management systems for effective and efficient delivery of services, embracing interlibrary services, establishing policies, procedures, mission/vision work instructions for libraries, Managing libraries professionally and based on ISO standards.
Target group: College Librarians, Secondary School Librarians & Teacher-Librarians (Note: An institution can send more than one participant)
Venue: Kibabii University Main campus (Multipurpose Hall)
Cost: Ksh 1000/= One thousand only per participant. The cost will cover (Stationeries, meals & certificate for participation)
