HIV and AIDS activities are mainstreamed into the core functions of all Public Institutions, due to this National AIDS Control Council (NACC) and Commission of University (CUE) held a verification process in Kibabii University on 28th June 2018.
Among the major corners in CUE verification included:
- Institutionalization of HIV and Aids: remains a core business of teaching, research and community outreach
- HIV and Aids competent graduates: streaming HIV and Aids into the curriculum programs
- Outreach activities: awareness campaign on HIV and AIDS
- Stigma and discrimination: zero tolerance to stigma and discrimination of both infected and affected people
- AIDS Control Unit and its operationalization
