Kibabii University is celebrating the victory of their 3rd year student Faith Ogallo. Faith Ogallo has made Kenya proud in just concluded Olympic qualifiers in Rabat, Morocco.
The 12th all African Games silver medalist and Dubai G2 bronze medalist Faith Ogallo has earned Kenya Taekwondo a slot at the Olympics by defeating her opponent from Chad 27 – 21. Ogallo officially qualifies for the Olympics in Tokyo Japan and will represent Kenya in the middle/heavyweight category at the games which will run from July 24th to August 2nd, 2020.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo blessed Faith and her colleagues during Kibabii University’s Sportsmen and women of the Year Awards where she was awarded with the International Recognition Award at the ceremony.
Kibabii University appreciates the contributors of Ogallo’s success and especially Kenya Taekwondo Federation that gave her the opportunity to showcase her prowess.
The Prof. Odeo has named Ogallo Faith and Lingokal Mushon Benson as KIBU’s sports ambassadors and the University will brand them as their heroes.
