The Kenya National Police SACCO extended generous support to Kibabii University’s Cultural Week 2025 by donating KSh. 100,000. The cheque was presented to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Ipara Odeo, on Monday, 27th October, 2025, by Mr. Zebedee Otee, a lecturer at Kibabii University and a long-serving member of the SACCO.
While receiving the donation, the Vice Chancellor commended the SACCO for its continued partnership and generosity over the years, noting that it has consistently supported various University activities, including the Annual Staff End-Year Awards Ceremony. He further acknowledged the SACCO’s growing presence within the University, with membership currently exceeding 30 and expanding steadily.
According to the 2024 report by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA), the Kenya National Police SACCO ranks third nationally, with an asset base of KSh. 59.83 billion.
The Cultural Week, slated for October 29 to November 1, 2025, will be held under the theme “Navigating Modern Challenges through Our Unique Cultural Diversity and Talent.” The event aims to celebrate Kenya’s rich cultural heritage while fostering unity, creativity, and social engagement among students and staff.
