Imarisha Usawa and Netball Development Trust on Wednesday 11th February, 2026 visited Kibabii University to donate sports equipment and have a sports workshop with the University’s basketball and netball teams. Imarisha Usawa a non-governmental organization based in Nairobi and Netball Development Trust which is based in Bungoma donated kits and balls to the women’s basketball team and netball dresses and bibs for both the women’s and men’s teams.
The Director Center for Creative Arts and Sports (CECPAS) Dr. Edwin Masibo thanked the Imarisha Usawa CEO Ms. Elizabeth Waliuba for her continued support in empowering women in sports and using sports and being a valuable partner to Kibabii University. He extended his gratitude to Mr. Joseph Olita of the Netball Development Trust for choosing Kibabii University as a partner in the development and growth of netball. On his part the Senior Assistant Dean of Students in charge of Sports Mr. Cyprian Lusweti thanked the two organizations for being on call to support sports in the University.
