Kibabii University continues to expand its global engagement through the Erasmus+ Programme, which promotes international educational exchange, boosts skills, enhances employability, and fosters cultural awareness. Currently, through the School of Business and Economics, the University is implementing the Staff and Student Learning Mobility Project from 2024 to 2029, with a funding of Kshs. 19,594,132.00, under the leadership of Principal Investigator Dr. Kadian Wanyonyi Wanyama and a dedicated team comprising Dr. Sylvia Chebet Sirai, Dr. Brian Wanyama Singoro, and Dr. Laura Catherine Mamuli.<\/p>

For the teaching staff, the mobility offers valuable international teaching experience, exposure to innovative pedagogical practices, and opportunities to strengthen curriculum development. It also facilitates the development of long-term academic networks and partnerships. For students, the programme improves communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills, preparing them for success in the global labor market.<\/p>

This collaboration has already yielded significant impacts. In May 2025, Dr. Brian Singoro and two students, Kimanzi Damaris Mwikali and Mutashi Emmanuel Namusasi, travelled to the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapre\u0161i? in Croatia. There, they participated in teaching activities, seminars, and workshops, immersing themselves in new academic and cultural environments while sharing insights from African higher education context. By March 2026, plans are underway for three more staff members and two students to visit Croatia. Additionally, Croatian faculty members Mr. Ivica Klinac and Ms. Sanela Ravlic have confirmed visits to Kibabii University before the end of 2025.<\/p>

Beyond individual exchanges, the Erasmus+ mobility project has strengthened institutional ties between Kibabii University and the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapre\u0161i?. This partnership paves the way for future collaborative research, staff networking, and curriculum co-development. With plans for joint publications and expanded exchanges, the initiative is laying the groundwork for deeper academic collaborations and sustainable growth.<\/p>

As Kibabii University continues to embrace these international opportunities, the Erasmus+ Programme remains a vital catalyst for increasing global exposure, equipping staff and students with vital skills and experiences. These efforts are shaping the University\u2019s academic landscape and enhancing its contribution to global education.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
