Biography

Dr. Vincent Nyongesa Marani is a Senior Lecturer and Chairman of the Department of  Mathematics at Kibabii University, Kenya. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Pure Mathematics from Kibabii University (2019), a Master of Science in Pure Mathematics from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (2009), and a Bachelor of Education (Science) in Mathematics from Kenyatta University (1990). His research interests span Group Theory, Coding Theory, Representation Theory, Algebraic Structures, Combinatorial Designs, Cryptographic Applications of Algebra, Quantum Information Theory, and Mathematical Modelling. Dr. Marani has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and has successfully supervised four PhD students and more than ten MSc students to completion. He also serves as an External Supervisor for the MA in Project Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi. Dr. Marani is a member of the International Association of Engineers and has contributed to curriculum development, quality assurance, and academic standards at Kibabii University.
