Biography
Sr. Dr. Jacklyne Okello Alari is an experienced higher education administrator and academic staff member with over twelve years of distinguished service in university administration and teaching. She is a highly competent and dependable administrator, known for her thoroughness, commitment, firmness, and strong communication skills. Her core areas of expertise include educational administration, leadership and policy, quality assurance, curriculum development, and e-learning. Her career objective is to provide quality service to humanity within an ever-changing global society. Dr. Alari holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration and Leadership from Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Planning, and a Bachelor of Education (Science – Mathematics and Biology), all from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. Dr. Alari has extensive experience as a university administrator, educator, student mentor, research supervisor, external examiner, and consultant on best practices in education management, leadership, and quality assurance. She has undertaken advanced professional training, including the Senior Management Course at the Kenya School of Government (2024). She also holds a Diploma in Harmonization, Accreditation, and Quality Assurance in African Higher Education (HAQAA2). She is a founding member of the HAQAA Network on African Continental and Regional Integration in Higher Education, launched on 7 February 2023. Currently, Dr. Alari serves as the Registrar (Academic Affairs) at Kibabii University and is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Planning and Management. In addition to her institutional responsibilities, she is the Secretary General of the Kenya Quality Assurance Network (KuQAN), the Treasurer of the Association of Academic Registrars of Universities in Kenya (AARUK), and a member of the East African Higher Education Quality Assurance Network (EAQAN). Sr. Jacklyne is a member of the Little Sisters of St. Joseph, where she serves as a General Council Member of the Congregation. She also contributes to secondary education governance as a board member of Cardinal Otunga Girls High School and Nambale Boys High School
