Kibabii University Management led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ipara Odeo<\/a> received 23,000 volumes of books from Text Book for Change, Canada on 10th<\/sup> September, 2019. Prof. Ipara noted that it was a blessing to get such a huge volume of books at such a time when the University was in dire need of additional books. He encouraged both staff and students to make good use of the books to achieve their mandate.\u00a0 Prof. Ipara thanked Text Book for Change for the huge donation and appreciated the University Librarian, Ndukuh Charles Kilei<\/a> for the initiative.
\n 
\nThe library has tripled up the collection from 14,000 volumes to 37000 volumes of books. These books contain valuable information and will go a long way in contributing to the acquisition of new knowledge by students and other scholars. This will also contribute to the realization of Kibabii University mission of achieving excellence in generation, transmission and enhancement of new knowledge in Science, Technology and Innovation.
