The Special Collection Section (SCS) enhances this mandate by preserving and providing access to Africana\/Kenyana materials, rare books, artifacts, oral cultural records, as well as Vice Chancellor\u2019s publications and donations, and works donated or authored by Ken Walibora. It serves students, staff, researchers, and the wider community while also providing dedicated space and assistive technologies for users with special needs. The section focuses on acquisition, organization, and controlled access to unique resources, as well as documentation of indigenous knowledge from community elders.
