Through these programmes, students and academic staff gain exposure to different institutional environments, enabling mutual learning and a deeper understanding of global academic practices.<\/p><p data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"741\">Participants in exchange programmes not only acquire new knowledge, skills, and perspectives to enhance their academic and professional development upon return, but also contribute their expertise to the host institution, enriching its academic and cultural environment.<\/p><p data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"965\">In line with its Vision and Mission, Kibabii University actively encourages and supports students and staff to participate in international exchange programmes with partner universities and institutions of higher learning.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f33869d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f33869d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Eligibility Criteria<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c3c219 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2c3c219\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"1001\" data-end=\"1129\">To qualify for participation in a long-term student exchange programme, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1906\"><li data-section-id=\"724aa1\" data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1199\">Must be a <strong data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1175\">registered full-time student<\/strong> at Kibabii University<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1i8725e\" data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1267\">Must have completed at least <strong data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1256\">one (1) academic year<\/strong> of study<\/li><li data-section-id=\"d5by9x\" data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1417\">Must have a <strong data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1311\">minimum mean score of 60%<\/strong> in the semester preceding the exchange (failure to meet this may result in cancellation of eligibility)<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1raqm03\" data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1514\">Must not be under any <strong data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1480\">academic or disciplinary sanctions<\/strong>, or pending disciplinary action<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1r9se9\" data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1562\">Must have <strong data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1560\">no incomplete academic grades<\/strong><\/li><li data-section-id=\"1wpqt6p\" data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1650\">Must demonstrate <strong data-start=\"1582\" data-end=\"1608\">proficiency in English<\/strong> or the language of the host institution<\/li><li data-section-id=\"1pnc7pg\" data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1801\">Must agree to and comply with the <strong data-start=\"1687\" data-end=\"1711\">terms and conditions<\/strong> of the exchange programme as agreed between Kibabii University and the host institution<\/li><li data-section-id=\"fv7zqt\" data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1906\">Priority will be given to students who have <strong data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1879\">not previously participated<\/strong> in an exchange programme<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"2002\">Any exceptions to the above requirements must be formally approved by the <strong data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2001\">Vice Chancellor<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Student exchange programmes provide valuable opportunities for academic, cultural, and personal growth.
