UASU Kibabii University Chapter Corporate Social Responsibility in Fighting COVID-19
As Kenya struggles with the profound implications of coronavirus (COVID-19), corporations have a responsibility to step up and help support the government in taking action. In the spirit of corporate social responsibility UASU Kibabii University Chapter reached out to the communities around the University on 24th April, 2020 and donated sanitizers, 100 litre jericans and masks locally made and donated by staff. Beneficiaries of the donations included essential service providers: tuktuk and bodaboda drivers, market vendors in Mayanja, Bungoma taxi stage and the University security department. Dr. Ernest Mwangi Njoroge, KIBU Chairman of Council congratulated the team for the good job done for the community.

Together we can keep COVID-19 at bay.
