In compliance with the Ministry of Health containment measures Kibabii University continued with the Covid-19 vaccination exercise on Wednesday, 11th August at the University’s Health Services facility. This is continuation of the Astra Zeneca vaccination, whose first dose was administered early in the year. The exercise also lay platform for staff who had missed out on the first dose to receive the jab and shall run as more doses are received from the Government until a target of 100% vaccination is achieved.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration, Finance & Development) Prof. Donald Siamba, who is also the Chairman of the Covid-19 Response Committee urged members of the University community to strive and take vaccine, and discouraged complacency in upholding measures already in place.
