Kibabii University led by Ms. Sophy Waliaula joined the world on 11th October, 2019 in celebrating International Day of the Girl Child. Kibabii University staff donated sanitary towels to KCPE candidates in Bungoma County. A total of 18 schools in the 9 sub-counties benefited in the Community Social Responsibility initiative.
Ms. Waliaula shared the purpose of the International Day of the Girl Child through empowerment and mentoring of the gilrs. Schools that benefited from the initiative were: Laboot primary, Butonge primary, Bungoma DEB, Christ the King, Mbaraki primary among others.
