Faith Ogalo Wins a Bronze Medal at World Taekwondo G2 Championships

Faith Ogalo 3rd year Social Work student at Kibabii University is a pride of many Kenyans on 6th February, 2020 after winning a bronze medal in the just-concluded World Taekwondo G2 open championship (Fujairah) in Dubai.

Miss. Ogalo who will be heading to Morocco on 18th February, 2020 with her team for the Olympics last qualifiers games brought home a bronze medal after hotly contested matches with world number two Abdelelazim Yaraa Shraf of UAE and World number one Kus Nafia of Turkey who later took the title in their category.

The six (6) athletes are under the umbrella of a talent academy in Nairobi. The team is also preparing for the 10th All African University Games which will be held at Kenyatta University in July,2020.

The Kibabii University Taekwondo team is the defending champion of both the East African University games and the All African University Games.
