ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION.
Kibabii University agriculture students association (K.A.S.A), is an association for the students in the umbrella of department of agriculture and veterinary science, under the faculty of science in kibabii university, founded in 13th October 2017.
This association encompasses all students pursuing agricultural programs in the mentioned department from certificate, diploma, post graduate diploma, bachelors, masters to doctorate level.
The association was founded with wide range of objectives which include, but not limited to;
- i) To familiarize K.A.S.A members with the agriculture world through effective participation in university forums, seminars, conferences, workshop, exhibitions , symposium and other public forums in that affect
- ii) To embrace networking with other universities and partnership with some of the related organisations that will help lobby for some beneficial opportunities such as industrial attachments and internships for that matter.
iii) To discuss and address the issues facing K.A.S.A members.
- iv) To promote and facilitate the mentorship program for K.A.S.A members to enhance career building and empowerment as well as initiating some of the project that will influence K.A.S.A members positively.
- V) To promote creativity, innovation and research spirit in matters Agriculture as well as equipping the community to the emerging trends in the Agriculture environment in Kibabii university and globally.
Vi) To bond and unify students to staff who possess a shared interest in Agriculture perspective.
