The Vice Chancellor together with the Deputy Vice Chancellors receive Amb. Simon Nabukwesi, Principal Secretary, State Department for University Education when he visited the University on Saturday 18th July, 2020 to assess the state of preparedness of the University for reopening of face to face studies as per the guidelines issued by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education.
The University made a presentation to the Principal Secretary on measures that have been put in place in compliance with the Government directives on containment of COVID-19 pandemic and Ministry of Education guiding principles and protocols in preparation for reopening. Amb. Nabukwesi was also taken round the University to assess the different facilities.
He commended the University for the measures already in place. He also advised the institution on additional measures to ensure full adherence and compliance with the Government directives.
In his closing remarks, The Vice Chancellor appreciated the PS for the support and guidance that will ensure smooth running of the operations of the University.
